Code of Character Resources: COMPASSIONATE

Welcome to February at the West Bath School Library! We have been enjoying books, books and more books! It's always a treat to unveil the new Caldecott medal winning book. The Caldecott medal is awarded to a picture book for best illustrations. A Ball For Daisy is the 2012 winner...hurray! It's getting rave reviews from the students here.

Come and check out our Code of Character display. This February we are highlighting books and videos around the Code of Character trait 'Compassionate'. Our West Bath School community is working on becoming the best we can be. It's a growing process like anything else, but even in the library, we are cultivating some respectful, responsible, compassionate, honest, creative and joyful students who enjoy their school and love to READ! During her library class, one little Kindergarten girl said, "I love this school so much, I wish I could put it in my pocket!"
