First Quarter

Welcome Back to the library with Mrs. D. I'm very excited to be surrounded by all our books again...especially all the new ones!

1^st Quarter means we will delve right into our Chickadee and MSBA (Maine Student Book Award)books...yahoo! The 10 Chickadee books will be read to grades K-3. In the spring, those students will vote for their favorite Chickadee book and a Maine winner will be selected! The MSBA chapter books will be read by students in grades 4 & 5. Those students who want to join the MSBA book club can participate in The Battle of the Books competition competing with other RSU1 students in April.

I'm looking forward to another great year of providing and placing just the right books in the hands of my West Bath School students. Why? Because in the words of my new favorite picture book character, Pete the Cat, “It's all good!”
