Battle of the Books!

Our West Bath 4th and 5th graders who have joined the Battle of the Books club are doing a fine job reading, studying their battle questions/authors/genres and working in teams to prepare for the book competition! The big event will happen at Woolwich Central School on April 4th at 6:30, however, students need to be there by 6:15. 

The MSBA after school book club meets on Wednesdays from 3:00-4:00.  17 students have formed 4 teams. Our first mock battle last week went well. We played a genre game, had a question and answer competition using round 1 questions and played Around the World to practice Titles & Authors.

Students were given and assigned to study round 2 questions. These are questions that for the most part, were written by the students about the books they have been reading. We will conduct another mock battle this week using those questions.
