Congratulations to the WBS Battle of the Books teams who did a fantastic job representing our school in the RSU1 MSBA competition in April! Two of our 4 teams placed 1st and 3rd...nice work!
Read to Feed, a service learning project through Heifer International, is underway at WBS!
It's our 7th annual campaign where students recruit sponsors to pay them to read books in order to raise money to buy livestock for the needy. With the money raised, we buy cows, chickens, goats etc. and give them to the hungry children of the world, including the USA...it's the gift that keeps on giving!

LAST YEAR, during our 7 week campaign, we read 1,250 books and raised $7, 525!
Our goal this year is to read even more books to raise more money. We want to feed even more hungry children...and to help them go to school!
Our school's Read to Feed slogan is:
"READ TO FEED AND HAVE COMPASSION, PERSEVERE AND MAKE IT HAPPEN!"
